"Controversy over the Guantánamo Bay detention camp has intensified as United Nations experts condemned the force-feeding of hunger-striking inmates by the US, and a former White House lawyer claimed that drone strikes are being used as an alternative to detaining al-Qaida suspects," begins a piece at The Guardian this morning. Hey, you don't have to lock up suspects if they're drone- bombed, nor are any evidence or charges necessary, which becomes embarrassing after years of imprisonment, and it appears you can drone bomb whoever you want under the secret rules.

We would tell you if you're on the list, in what our mainstream media call our "open and free democracy," but it's secret.
